After a few leaks, the LG V20 is finally official and has been unveiled in San Francisco today.
We’ve already seen the hands-on of the device and soon you’ll be able to get your hands on the device.
As far as specs go:
- SoC: Snapdragon 820
- RAM: 4GB (DDR4)
- Display: 5.7-inch 1440p IPS + secondary 160×1040 IPS (513ppi)
- Storage: 64GB UFS + microSD
- Cameras: 16MP f/1.8 + 8MP f/2.4 wide-angle rear, 5MP f/1.9 front
- Battery: 3200mAh with Quick Charge 3.0, removable
- Measurements: 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm
The V20 retains much of what made the V10 eye-catching, and in turn design aspects found in the G5 are also prominent in the latest LG device.
The second screen is still there in the LG V20 and is apparently 50% brighter than the version on the V10. It’s also the first Android device to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest version of the operating system. LG have applied its UX 5.0+ skin on top of the OS to include some extra functionality, including Hi-Fi video recording, Steady Record 2.0, an HD audio recorder, and an ESS Sabre DAC.
The LG V20 will go on sale in South Korea next month in Titan (gray), Silver, and Pink colors. Prices have not been announced, and neither has availability for other parts of the world. For the US, the Pink will not be available, but a pair of B&O headphones will be included with pre-orders.
